One of the original set of Family cask releases from the Glenfarclas range of rare and old single cask releases that go all the way back to whisky distilled in 1952 and first released in 2007. Distilled 11/1/1977 Bottled 30/11/2006 Aged for 29 years in a single Refill Butt cask#61 Only 582 bottles released at natural cask strength of 59% ABV A light whisky on the eye. However, a honey sweetness you would associate with a darker dram. Although not as heavily sherried as other Glenfarclas expressions, the nose on this whisky is divine. Very sweet and well balanced. A buttery smooth whisky, with spicy undertones. A short intense finish, which fills your entire mouth.
