Lots of fresh citrus notes followed by layers and layers of oily peat notes. An absolute must have dram for lovers of all things islay. Nose: Salty sea air, earthy/boggy notes with hints of green herbs, anise and oily pear drops. Palate: Green fruit tinged with sea salt, white pepper and anise. Yeasty/dough like notes with refreshing lime tinged peat & mossy carbolic soap. Finish: Chilli flake on green seaweed, white pepper, anise and medicinal tinged pear drops. A refreshing, zingy and coastal malt and a tame beastie if you are used to the likes of Laphroaig or Ardbeg
