Confiscated by the Kentucky Owl distillery is a tribute to the long lost barrels seized as part of prohibition, when Kentucky Owl was originally producing before being closed shortly after. With the rejuvenation of the distillery in 2014, this 2019 release is a spice led Bourbon. Nose: Gardenia, banana bread, toasty sourdough bread crust and red apple. Palate: Graham crackers, citrus, toffee and muted sweet cinnamon spice. Finish: White grape noted and a hint of cayenne pepper to finish.
