First bottled in 1892, but first produced some time before, Mandarine Napoléon (38% abv/ 76 proof) was said to be a personal favourite of the Corsican-born Emperor, Napoléon Bonaparte. *It is the first liqueur composed of mandarins and cognac, made with only natural ingredients and mandarins sourced from the best orchards in Sicily and Corsica. *Today, the precise recipe remains a closely guarded secret, but Mandarine Napoléon continues to be savoured the world over, just as it was over 200 years ago by Napoléon himself. Wine maker notes Color: Warm and bright amber Nose: Natural mandarin zest with a woody spiciness and undertones of rich cognac Palate: Sweet mandarin with nutmeg, cinnamon and hints of marmalade and liquorice Finish: Smooth, sweet and dry. Manddarine Napoléon adds body, freshness and spice to every cocktail.
