Owned by the Lafaye family, situated near the village of Saint Pey dArmens, this 12 Hectare vineyard plot has mature 35-40 year old vines. Hand harvested, fermented in stainless steel, and aged in French oak this Grand Cru displays exotic plum and ripe blackberry fruit. Sweet juicy tannins, spicy cinnamon, cedar oak and a lively acidity complete the picture. One of the best things about this wine is the way its just so. . . complete. It has beautiful aromatics, the fruit is present but not in your face, the texture is rich and full but smooth on the palate, and the finish just goes on. . .
