A gentle mouthfeel, with initial dry juniper joined by growing sweetness, showing lemon tart & orange marmalade, garnished by a wave of fresh lemon zest, followed by bolder juniper & light dryness. Dryness leads, with spicy juniper and a hint of lemon tart. Production notes: Small batch. Each batch is hand made with no mandatory trimmings or cuttings. The first gin distillery in 200 years to use copper pot stills! The label lists 10 botanicals with international provenance used to infuse this gin (Macedonian juniper berries, Seville orange peel, Italian orris root). The end result is a citrus-and-juniper profile, with a good dose of anise and a hint of lavender on the palate, and a smooth, gentle finish.
