The Vinaya (a Sanskrit word meaning respect and gratitude) is matured in a unique combination of first fill Bourbon and first fill Sherry casks for notes of fresh apple, sweet floral grass and hints of chocolate. As mentioned there are immediately floral grass notes on the nose, complimented by sugary boiled sweets. Fresh green apple bursts on the palate, followed by rich milk chocolate and a hint of cracked black pepper. The finish is light and refreshing.
