This could quite possibly be the finest blended Whisky ever created. Comprising of single malts from Hakushu and Yamazaki along with aged grain from the Chita distillery this blend has won many awards over the years. To complete the package it is provided in what we think is one of the classiest bottles on the market. Featured in Ian Buxton's 101 legendary whiskies you're dying to try but (possibly) never will book. Nose: Ripe plums, new leatehr, dark chocolate, rich barley and aromatic biscuity grain, honeycomb. Palate: Rich toffee and aromatic spices, stewed plums, marzipan, sherry soaked orange segments. Finish: Rum and raisin fudge, spiced vanilla cheesecake, plum jam on french toast. The Plum wine liqueur casks that the 12 year old is partially matured in give this super moreish Japanese blend a real fruity edge.
