What is JIN JIJI Darjeeling? Jin JiJi Darjeeling is our first tea inspired variant. We chose Tea as a foundational component because India is home to the world's most distinctive geographically indicated (GI) tea regions, and we feel Gin is a spirit with the ability to express terroir. It is copper pot distilled in Goa. Each batch we distill uses Single Estate Tea of the highest grade FTGFOP1 (Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1) from a unique estate, the first coming from the Jungpana Tea Garden. We also add ginger, cardamom and clove, ingredients integral to the traditional preparation of Indian Masala Tea, a daily staple in India.
