Bodega Garzon is also noteworthy for its impressive, LEED-certified winery. Marselan is a hybrid grape variety that combines the best characteristics of Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is aged in French oak barrels, giving the wine a rich and aromatic flavor with a long and smooth finish. It's medium-bodied, elegant, complex, and balanced with velvety tannins, easy acidity, and good texture. Flavors of cherry, blackberry, blueberry, oak, pepper, minerals, and cocoa powder slide across the soft palate. A nice match for hearty pasta dishes.
