We love authentic real Beaujolais. Truly, there is a lot of stuff out there in the wine marketplace that says Beaujolais yet tastes like insipid candies. Not Chermette's Beaujolais and especially not his Vielles Vignes "Origine". Named Origine in homage to the way old fashioned Beaujolais was made before it became marketably fashionable this is a wine of great purity. It speaks of it's fruit, and of it's dark granitic soils. Intensely fruity, concentrated and wonderfully fresh. The vines for this wine are between 30-100 years old. Super low yields and old vine fruit. Delicious for all occasions.
