We've loved Robert Oatley's wines for a long time here at Ball Square, but this is too tremendous a deal for us to not shout about it! Ensconced in some of Australia's best terroir in McLaren Vale, this bottle of Grenache shows all of what premium Aussie wine can be: focused, fragrant red fruit, herbs, eucalyptus, and leather all make their presence felt on the nose. Concentrated and supple, raspberry and cherry glide along the palate leading into a finish with dried red fruit and earth. While this wine is well worth it at its standard price of $22, at $16 (before your discount!), it moves into "must buy" territory!
