The Mazzolino Estate stretches through the heart of the Oltrepo Pavese region, on the right bank of the river Po, in the hilly area near the Apennines and along the 45th parallel north. It is in the old hamlet of Mazzolino, near Corvino San Quirico, that the Braggiotti family, owners of the Mazzolino Estate since 1980, planted the roots of the winery's philosophy: thirty hectares of land in the hills, twenty of which are vineyards, favouring the grape varieties most suited to this area. Pinot Nero is planted in the clayey and slightly calcareous soil of the hills with a northeast and northwest exposure, where they find a microclimate favourable to their development. Ripe and fascinating, it captivates with clear scents of strawberries, cherries, lime and calendula. Full-bodied, soft and enveloping with each sip, it closes elegantly and gracefully.
