Inspired by the famed Australian wine region in their backyard, they aged their whisky in red wine barrels and in Melbourne, Australia's notoriously wild climate. The constant change in temperature makes the barrels contract and expand at a much faster rate, leading the whisky to take on the delicious flavors from the wood.
